In short

What stays on your phone
When you allow it, RafeeqPro uses your phone’s location to work out prayer times, the Qibla and the distance to mosques. That happens on the phone itself. The place you choose and your settings, such as your name on the card or your calculation method, are saved in the app on your phone and nowhere else.
The compass reads your phone’s motion sensors only while the Qibla page is open, and nothing it reads is sent anywhere.
What reaches our server
To name your city and list mosques nearby, the app downloads small map files for your general area from our own server, the same files for everyone in that area. Your exact position is never part of the request.
The app and this website are delivered through Cloudflare. Like any website, their servers briefly handle standard technical details such as your IP address to deliver pages and keep them secure. We don’t use that to identify you, and we add no analytics, advertising or tracking of our own.
When you choose another service
Some things you tap open a service outside RafeeqPro, and that service’s own privacy policy then applies:
- Directions to a mosque open Apple Maps, Google Maps or Waze with that mosque’s address.
- Sharing uses your phone’s own share sheet. Shared prayer times carry your city’s name, never your exact location.
- Source links open Quran.com or Sunnah.com.
Treats and payments
If you treat the developers, the payment is handled by Stripe. We never see your card details. Stripe tells us what is needed to record the treat, such as the amount and the email address you give, and we use that only for the payment and its receipt. Treats go to the team behind RafeeqPro. They are not a charitable donation and are not zakat-eligible.
When you email us
If you write to us, for example to suggest a correction to a mosque or to ask about RafeeqPro for Mosques, we keep your email only to reply and to act on what you asked.
Your choices
You can use RafeeqPro without sharing your location at all by picking a city instead. Location access can be turned off at any time in your phone’s settings. Clearing the website data for app.rafeeqpro.com in your phone’s browser settings deletes everything RafeeqPro saved on your phone.
